Blackboard Basics Anyone???

I feel like this is the first day of my summer vacation because my Millersville classes ended last Friday and the training workshop at L-S on Blackboard Basics ended just yesterday. Please let me know if anyone has any comments about the Blackboard Basics program. Do you use it in your school? If so, how do you use it. It seems to me that it has many, many uses. I was able to spend some time today just looking on the internet for interesting Web sites that I could use in my classes this fall. I plan to do some more searching tomorrow.

What a Weekend!

Had a very busy weekend taking care of my daughter's dog. He was visiting from Virginia while his owners went to Wildwood, New Jersey. Sadly, no time for a blog! I planned to blog last night, but we had a severe thunderstorm which resulted in six hour power outage at my house. :( I spent several hours on Monday and Tuesday at a workshop on Blackboard Basics. Does anyone have any experience with this program? Let me know. Thanks, Cathy

This is the last day of EDW 647, Internet for Educators. We have discussed many topics related to the Internet this week. It was quite informative and I appreciate the fact that the course was designed, in part, so that we would have at least a basic understanding of how the internet works. I tried my best this week and I feel that I have gained an enormous wealth of information. For example, I have created a blog and a web site!
